Early years that inspire

Children grow through five stages at Summerhill. Each builds on the one before, with hands-on projects, monthly themes, and plenty of time on stage and outdoors.

  1. 01

    Playgroup 2–3 years

A gentle first step away from home. Textures, sounds and songs, and learning to play alongside new friends.

Seen in classLittle paleontologists feeling dinosaur textures and practising their best dino walk.

  2. 02

    Nursery 3–4 years

Nursery is a child’s first introduction to school, so we keep it smooth and easy. Children settle into routines while they sort, count, sing and build.

Seen in classBuilding our own school bus, then singing The Wheels on the Bus at the top of our voices.

  3. 03

    Jr. KG 4–5 years

Letters, numbers and big questions about the world, explored through hands-on projects and plenty of stage time.

Seen in classLearning how clouds form, then performing The Lion King for our parents.

  4. 04

    Sr. KG 5–6 years

The year that prepares children for primary school, with early maths, reading readiness and growing independence.

Seen in classSorting leaves and stones from smallest to largest to learn increasing order.

  5. 05

    Primary Grades I–III · 6–9 years

Languages, maths and science with real materials, and projects children research and present themselves.
