Our story
Summerhill International School sits on Canal Road in Kishanpur, Dehradun. For more than 40 years, our educators have believed that young children learn best by doing, and that every child should grow according to their own abilities and skills.
Less of a school, more of a home
Our campus is cosy and cottage-style, rooted in nature, with green lawns, bright classrooms and smaller classes where every child gets individual attention.
Young children learn with their hands, their voices and their whole bodies. So our classrooms are full of blocks, beads, paint, thread, costumes and songs, and our teachers plan each month around a theme children can touch and explore.
